it is an  ecological marvel that this unique land contains almost every climate and so many climate ranges.

from early may through late october the farm can experience temperature variations of over 60 degrees.

the two viticultures contain a nearly mile high mountain, and have an abundance of broad grassy plains, wet estuaries, and lagoons.

further north it has reedy swamps and temperate rain forests of long lived redwoods and douglas firs. it also contains rocky coast lands, and both fertile and arid inland savannas.
